Finally, this is my last week of internship at Meor Bakery and we have to go out and sell our products in KPTM KL event. Starting on Monday at 8 a.m we gather around at the office and brings all the item that we need to bring to sell bakery products, our products, and labeling.
The event take place for 4 days and it is all been good and we succeed to sell all of our products. Alhamdulillah..
Our total profits for this event is = RM 1001.90

Internship Report Week 7 (LOG BOOK)
In conjunction with our college (KPTM KL) Islamic activity for February, I have come out with and idea to sell our (Meor Bakery) product. Open a booth by selling our bread, cakes, muffin, cupcakes and other items.
So, these week we have been assigned to settle all of our things regarding opening the booth. I have to go and see KPTM KL staff to get the approval to open the booth and get the equipment like tables, chairs, and fan.
After looking at the Event layout plan, luckily we have some free space for us to open up our booth. It is in front of Y.E.S Kiosk. I think this is a good thing to do because there is no other booth are selling the same product like us. So we have got our customer attention more from the others.
Our target market is female students because female love something colorful that will catch their eyes. They love to buy something that is attractive.
So does our product is colorful. After a hard discussion we have decided to sell rainbow cake, red velvet cake, chocolate cake, varieties of muffin, red velvet cupcakes, chocolate and vanilla cupcakes.

Internship Report Week 6 (LOG BOOK)
On this week, I have to do some research about the price range of others bakery that been selling the same products as the company. Me and my friends have to go to bakery shop around Klang valley to survey for it. When it all completes we combine the list and give it to the supervisor. In my opinion, this is good for the company because by these activity and results, they can improve their quality and price range for their product.
After that we have to come out with an idea on what item to be sell out. It means new product line. The decision has finally come out, we have to make cookies. Its a chocolate chip cookies. The idea is we have to make it, and preparing their packaging as well and we have to sell it. To know whether the cookies have potential or not, we have to let it all out.

Internship Report Week 5 (LOG BOOK)
On the 1st till 3rd of February 2012 (Friday - Sunday) we have been assigned to go to Pameran Pengantin at Shah Alam Convention Center to be a part time for De Gemilang Catering. We have to learn how to make Sales and Marketing process.
De Gemilang Catering teach us how to attract people and how to spoke with them. As we all know, all customer who came for this Pameran Pengantin will seek for a wedding preparation and it is our responsible to make them attracted with our packages.

Internship Report Week 4 (LOG BOOK)
On this 4th week we have to complete our Production of muffin for the whole week because many customer order for their wedding door gift. We have to do 3000 cup of muffin for the first time which includes ten different flavors (strawberry, pandan, vanilla, chocolate, blueberry, durian, orange, banana, mocha and etc).
On this phase, we learn how to make muffin starting from scratch which is we have to learn how to mixed the ingredients, blend it all, put it in a cup, and bake it. Finally is the packaging process. First we have to put it in a plastic and after that put it in a box with label.

Internship Report Week 3 (LOG BOOK)
On the third week we have to get in Production Department which is doing and making bread as the delivery matters will be take care by the company driver. We have to make a variety of bread, and their chef will guide us on how to do it. The whole week we have to be in the kitchen and we have experienced the dateline.
Making a bread is complicated but fun as they have many steps to reached before the bread can be delivered to the customers. First, we need to mixed up the ingredients including (flour, butter, milk salt and other things) and leave it in the freezer to let it rest for a while (5-6 hours).
Then the bread that already have their shape will go in the chiller and it will become fluffy and bigger. The next step is putting on the toppings which is ( sausages, vegetables, chili sauce, mayo, and cheese).

Internship Report Week 2 (LOG BOOK)
For this week I have to continue arranging order and do delivery for all of the shop that confirmed of consignment. Unfortunately, at this phase no allowance for fuel being provided. I have to go on my own, it is okay as i take it as a challenge to build my self esteem.

This week I am super busy with all of the order from those shop as I have to send the bread in the morning at 10 o'clock, follow up with them and received payment.
